I'm a management and communications professional with over 20 years experience working with arts and cultural organisations.

I am a freelance consultant. My areas of expertise include leadership, strategy, change management, financial planning, producing and touring, digital transformation and all aspects of marketing and communications.
My clients have included Coventry UK City of Culture 2021, National Lottery Heritage Fund, Icon, Map Consortium, James Wilton Dance and Corey Baker Dance.
Until November 2020, I worked as Deputy Chief Executive of Rambert. My previous roles included Marketing Director at Rambert and Director of Communications at The Place. I am Chair of the Arts Marketing Association and an Associate of Counterculture Partnership. I've worked in marketing and PR roles for theatres, visual arts and live art organisations. Way back when, I ran a stand-up comedy club.
I've written for The Guardian, Arts Industry and the Journal of Arts Marketing, and spoken at the AMA Conference, Culture Geek and for the British Council. I've been part of advisory panels and steering groups for Arts Council England, Dance UK, What Next? and SOLT/UK Theatre.
